Join J Robert Raines as he leads you through the roots, history, and philosophy of Hoodoo and Conjure; from its origins in the Trans-Atlantic Slave trade and Native American Medicine Work, its revitalization during the turn of the century, and it’s current rejuvenation across the American South as well as it’s growth in the major US cities.

We’ll be exploring Hoodoo’s growth and practice during the workshop, but during the second half we’ll be building a ‘mojo hand,’ a staple of Conjure from it’s barest West African roots to today in 2019, that you can take home with you!
